Several users, who updated their BLU Life One X2 to the latest software, have been locked out of the device. If you haven’t updated yet, then we recommend that you wait till this issue is fixed.

Those who installed the latest update, couldn’t get into their phones as the device wouldn’t accept their password. The update process goes well, but as soon as the phone reboots, it asks for the users password. This is where the troubles start and users are left locked out.

A factory reset seems to fix the problem, but that would mean having to wipe all your data. Nobody wants to do that. This seems to be an issue with the update, and someone at BLU didn’t test it out before releasing it to the public.

After speaking to a tech support rep, one of the customers was told that BLU would be doing a remote rollback of the update. This would save all your data, but there is no ETA on when this will happen. Hopefully BLU does this soon as a lot of customers are angered by this.
