AT&T’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ receiving May security patches

AT&T is rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with the latest Android security patch for May 2019.

The updates are available over the air and as usual, expect bug fixes and system-wide performance improvements to be included.

Where the standard S9 is receiving firmware version G960USQS4CSD3 and weighs 147.8MB, the S9+ is receiving version G965USQS4CSD3 and weighs 165.7MB.

It’s normal for OTA updates to take days before all units receive the download notification. But given the rollout started over a week ago, most S9 and S9+ users on AT&T should have received the update by now.
