After rolling out software updates for the LG K10 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ a couple of days ago, AT&T is now pushing a new update to the LG Vista 2.
Arriving with the build number MMB29M and software number H74020r, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based update brings with it some security improvements and bug fixes including the Blueborne fix and a fix to the KRACK Wi-Fi bug.
LG Oreo update: Android 8.0 beta rolling out for V30 and V30+
As usual, the update is being seeded over-the-air (OTA), which weighs around 93MB in size. The security patch level, in case you were wondering, is in September.
When would AT&T release Android 8.0 Oreo update for its devices?
If you happen to own an LG Vista 2, you should see an update notification popping on your device anytime now. Before hitting the install button, however, ensure that you have enough charging left on your device (at least 50%) and don’t forget to connect to a stable Wi-Fi network.
