The much awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, which Google released 3 months back for Nexuses, is now seeding as a beta test build to select 200 AT&T Note 5 users in the US.
The AT&T Note 5 Marshmallow beta test build is coming with Android version 6.0.1 and firmware build N920AUCU2BPB1.
Luckily, if you’re one of those select 200 users to get the beta update, you should know that there’s no way you can root the AT&T Note 5 on Marshmallow. Like 5.1.1, Android 6.0 Marshmallow update also won’t be rootable on locked bootloader variants like the AT&T Note 5.
Of course, we’ll keep an out for any possible root methods for the AT&T Note 5 running Marshmallow, but know that it’ll be a far cry. You will, most probably, won’t get root on AT&T Note 5.
Stay tuned..
Happy Androiding!
