It seems like Samsung has decided to continue its Active line of smartphones this year as well. A Samsung device with model number SM-G892A has been spotted in an User Agent String which is likely to be the AT&T Galaxy S8 Active. This totally falls in line with past a rumor which revealed that AT&T bound Galaxy S8 Active is coming soon with codename Cruiser.

Notably, Samsung’s Active phones are AT&T exclusive and looks like the Korean manufacturer is in no mood to divert from the norm. Although, nothing much is known about the S8 Active at this point, one thing is for sure that it will be MIL-STD-810G certified, of course in addition to the IP68 certification which means that the phone will be dust-proof, water-proof and more ruggedized.

Also, up till now we have seen Samsung release the Active variants of its flagship phones with larger batteries. It remains to be seen if it will do the same with Galaxy S8 Active. Another feature in Active variants is the Active key, which if Samsung will stick to in S8 Active will become the second key after Bixby button.

Notably, the Active phones are released mainly in overseas market usually in June. So, a month wait will usher in a new S8 variant device.
