AT&T is now rolling out an OTA update to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus with firmware builds G950USQU1AQEF and G955USQU1AQEF. The update brings several new features to the device including the May security patch.
Weighing in at 375MB, the latest AT&T Galaxy S8 update brings improvements to Bixby alongside UI enhancements and fix for SD Card sync and file transfer issue. The update also comes with stability improvements and messaging enhancements.
Since the OTA download size is 375MB it is better to download it over WiFi and save on any additional data charges from your carrier. Before downloading, ensure that all of your important data are backed up safely in the event of an installation failure. Better to be safe than sorry after all. Also make sure your device has at least 50% charge before you hit the install button.
