Users of Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and S7 Active on AT&T network are receiving a new firmware update. The update installs the latest monthly security patch.
The update is hitting AT&T Galaxy S7 Active units as build number G891AUCS2BQE1. On the other hand, the AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge units are receiving the update as build numbers G930AUCS4BQE1 and G935AUCS4BQE1 respectively.
Weighing at around 40MB, the update brings May security patch along with various bug fixes and minor performance tweaks. The update, which is Android Nougat based, also delivers a better user experience by enhancing system stability.

The update is being pushed over the air. If you haven’t already received the update notification, head over to Settings > About device > System updates and check for it manually. Before hitting the download button, get your smartphone at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network to avoid extra data charges.
