AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge, Note 4 and Note Edge receiving March security patch

AT&T is rolling out a new firmware update to three Samsung devices- Galaxy S6 Edge, Note 4 and Note Edge. The update brings the latest monthly security patch and is being rolled out as over the air (OTA).

The OTA update to AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge, Note 4 and Note Edge installs the March security patch. Other than the Android security patch, the update also tags along regular bug fixes and system enhancements.

The update comes with the following firmware build numbers to each of the devices:

  • AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge: G925AUCS6DQC1
  • AT&T Galaxy Note 4: N910AUCS2EPK5
  • AT&T Galaxy Note Edge: N915AUCS2DPK5

As is the case with OTA updates, it may take a while to reach your handset. If you do not want to wait, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. But before hitting the download the button, ensure that your device is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.
