After a long wait, the Android 5.1.1 update for AT&T Galaxy S5 has finally been released. The Lollipop update carries the build no. G900AUCU4COI5.

Apart from the Android 5.1.1 — which is the headline maker feature of the OI5 update — you also get Android for work, and a fix to Ultra Power Saver mode (when used with encryption). There are also security fixes included in the OI5 update.

The update’s size is between 699 to 999 MB, AT&T says.

If you own an AT&T Galaxy S5, then go ahead and check out for an update under Settings > About device > System > Software update.

While you will definitely get it under gradual rollout, checking as said above might get you access earlier than otherwise.

BTW, the Odin TAR firmware is not available yet, so you are depended on OTA for 5.1.1 update on your AT&T Galaxy S5. Once .tar.md5 file is available, we’ll update this page for sure.
