The AT&T Galaxy S5 Active received the 5.0 update back in April, but there is new update that is now available the device. The build no is G870AUCU2BOF2, and because the update size mentioned by AT&T is between 291-961 MB, we ‘re inclined to think it will be compatible with even Android 4.4 running S5 Active sets — that is, you don’t need to be necessarily on previous 5.0 update OC5 to be able to receive OF2 update.

If you are already on OC5 Lollipop update, the update size should be smaller for you, around 291 MB. While if you are still running KitKat on your AT&T S5 Active, then the update could run to 961 MB.

Let us know what visual changes you are able to spot on the new OF2 update? And the performance improvements, if any, while we wait for the official changelog from AT&T.
