The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is currently getting a new minor software update. The update installs the latest March Android security patch on the device.

The Galaxy S5 Active runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The new update carries the build number G870AUCS2DPK7 and weighs around 25MB in size. The update is being seeded over the air currently.

AT&T has released software updates with March security patch for a few other Samsung devices in the past few days. The Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S7 Active, S6, S6 Edge, S5, Note 4, and Note Edge have all received similar updates.

If you’ve got an AT&T Galaxy S5 Active, then you should be getting this new security update now. You can check for it manually through the Settings app as well. Before installing the update, make sure your phone has more than 50 percent charge and is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
