AT&T Galaxy Note Edge receiving January security update, build N915AUCS2DPK3

AT&T is also seeding a new security update for the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The carrier released an update for the Galaxy S5 today as well. The Note Edge was also announced more than 2 years ago.

The build number for the latest update is N915AUCS2DPK3, it weighs 36.5MB and is available as an OTA. The update installs the January Android security patch. Samsung rolled out an update for the unlocked version of the Note Edge yesterday. Verizon also released a security update for their carrier locked Note Edge.

As the month is just beginning, several carriers and OEMs are releasing security updates. AT&T has released the update for many Samsung devices so far. And so has Verizon and T-Mobile. These updates are all based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, as we believe that’s the last update the Galaxy Note Edge will receive.

Before downloading and installing the update, make sure your Note Edge has more than 50 percent charge and is connected to a WiFi network. You could also download the OTA using a Cellular network. AT&T would also be releasing 5G network later this year.
