AT&T is on a spree rolling out March security updates to a bunch of Samsung devices. Earlier in the day we reported Galaxy S7 Edge, S7 Active, S6 and S5 receiving the update and now two more Samsung devices have joined this list. AT&T Galaxy Express Prime and Express 3 are also up for the March security patch update.
The Samsung Galaxy Express 3 (J120A) is receiving the monthly patch update as build number J120AUCU2AQC1. The update is a small one weighing at 21MB and brings fixes for a number of issues including VoLTE mute, RTCP jitter, and Rx audio. If you own a AT&T Galaxy Express 3, your device needs to be on build number ending in PJ2 or QB1 to be able to download the latest available Android security patch.

The March security patch update is hitting at AT&T Galaxy Express Prime device as build number J320AUCU2AQC1 and fixes the same issues as reported for Galaxy Express 3 above. Comparatively, the file size of the update being received by Express Prime is pretty heavy and stands at 428MB. To be able to download this update, your device needs to be at an earlier build ending in PJ2 or QA1.
AT&T is rolling out the Android security patch over the air. In case you want to check for it manually, you can do so by going to Settings > About device > System updates. Get your smartphone connected to a WiFi network before going for the update and also ensure that it is sufficiently charged.
