Launched in February this year, BlackBerry KeyOne comes preinstalled with Android 7.1 Nougat and is currently running on the same version. When BlackBerry KeyOne was launched, it got a lot of attention, as it was the first Android phone that featured a physical keyboard.

In May, BlackBerry released an update for KeyOne keyboard that added support for swipe to type on the physical keyboard. Now a new update is rolling out for BlackBerry KeyOne users on AT&T.

While the new update neither brings any new feature for KeyOne keyboard nor introduces Oreo to KeyOne, it brings the latest September security patch to the device. The update is currently rolling out and arrives as version number AA750. To check for the update manually, go to Settings – About – Software.

Talking about Oreo, BlackBerry recently confirmed that KeyOne smartphone will receive Android Oreo. Well, it was kind of obvious, since it was launched just a few months back. But the question remains, when will it receive Oreo?BlackBerry hasn’t given any time frame for Oreo update but our best guess is first quarter 2018.

Meanwhile, yesterday, AT&T rolled out a new update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that brings Blueborne security patch to the device among other features.
