After Sprint, AT&T is now rolling out Android 9 Pie updates to Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8+ in the U.S.

Users of the devices have taken to Reddit to confirm that the rollout has just started for AT&T variants of these phones. Like Sprint, we expect the S8 and S8+ updates to arrive with software version G950USQU5DSC1 and G955USQU5DSC1, respectively.

As for the Galaxy Note 8, the firmware should arrive with version N950USQU5DSC1, again, the same version as what Sprint pushed to its variant a couple of days ago.

Also part of the Pie update is Samsung’s One UI that brings plenty of new features, customizations, and optimizations to the 2-year-old devices. The update also brings about the latest Android security patch for March 2019.

Since we are talking about major OS upgrades, be sure to connect to a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to make the switch to Pie, especially because of the size of the files involved. Also, the fact that it’s arriving as an OTA means the update will take some time before all AT&T variants of the S8 and Note 8 handsets receive the download notification.

Have you received your AT&T Pie update?
