Asus has now taken the wraps off its high-end tablet, the ZenPad 3S 8.0. The Tablet, which goes by model number Z582KL, was unveiled at Computex yesterday and comes with a sweet deck of specs.
Coming to the specs of the ZenPad 3S, the tablet runs on last year’s Snapdragon 652 processor (still an awesome chipset, BTW!), 3/4GB of RAM, a 7.9-inch Quad HD display to deliver a super crisp viewing experience, and a large 4680mAh battery. The tablet also comes with a decent 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie camera.
Asus has packed in the latest from Google with Android 7.1 Nougat OS on ZenPad 3s 8.0, on top of which sits its own ZenUI 3.5 custom skin. The OEM has also done an excellent job of keeping the tablet’s profile super slim to 6.9mm. The back of the device features a slight two-tone accent similar to that of the Google Pixel.

All in all the ZenPad 3S looks great, but we were really hoping to see the Zenfone 4 at Computex this time. Does this mean that Asus flagship smartphone will be getting some sort of special treatment with a separate release? If that were to happen, then we can expect the upcoming Zenfone 4 to be pretty different from the current flagship.
