Asus, on its website, has confirmed the release of an OTA update for the Zenfone Lite L1, which shouldn’t be confused with the Go edition Live L1. The phone has been regularly receiving updates since its launch in India despite being a low-end phone since Asus is one of those OEMs that likes to release fast updates on its phones no matter the price. The current OTA update bears software version 15.07.1810.24 and is specifically meant for IN SKU phones only.
This update not only levels up the phone’s Android security patch but also improves system stability, ensuring you have a smooth and snappy experience despite the largely underwhelming specifications. The update is airborne, meaning it will take some time before all units get the OTA notification.
