The entry-level Asus smartphone, the Zenfone Go, is receiving a new firmware update. The update is a minor one and being rolled out over the air (OTA).
The Asus Zenfone Go with model number ZB500KG is receiving the update which comes as software version 12.0.0.0129. The new firmware fixes Facebook message recording issue as well updates Russian translation. The minor update also installs the updated versions of Asus app and Google app on the Zenfone Go handset.
The update being an OTA, the device might take a while before it receives a notification. If you are too impatient to wait, there’s an alternative option to check it manually, by going to Settings » About Phone » Software Update.

The dual-SIM Asus Zenfone Go was launched in August 2015 with Android 5.1 OS and 2070mAh removable battery. The phone is equipped with 5.00-inch touchscreen display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. It packs a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter.
