Asus has already announced the second generation ZenFone 2 earlier this year in four different variants. Now, a new report from Russia suggests that the firm is prepping another model in the ZenFone lineup that will be an affordable one.

Speculated to be launched later this month, the ZenFone Go ZC500TG smartphone is likely to feature a quad core MediaTek processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM. The device is claimed to boast of a 5 inch HD display and bundle 8 GB of native storage space. It is not known if the device will feature expandable storage support or not.

The imaging aspects of the alleged ZenFone Go are likely to include an 8 MP main snapper at its back and a 2 MP front facer for selfies. The device is claimed to be a 3G only smartphone without the 4G LTE support as in the ZenFone 2 series.

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the ZenFone Go from Asus and we need to wait for the firm to reveal the same.
