The Asus Zenfone 4 series is getting a reboot this year, as we already know. The original Zenfone 4 was launched in 2014, but we would be seeing a new device carrying the same name in a few months time.
Rumors pointed to a May 2017 release for the new series of Zenfone 4 smartphones. There could be a few variants of the Zenfone 4, including a flagship device. The leaked specs coming from GFXBench could belong to the high-end Zenfone 4.
According to the specs on the benchmark report, this device features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 21MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The device also runs on Android Nougat.
Previous rumors mentioned a display size of 5.2-inches and a 4850mAh battery for the Zenfone 4. This could be a lower spec’d version of the smartphone announced alongside the other variants in the series. We don’t really have any concrete details about an announcement date, but we sure are going to get some new high-end smartphones from Asus this year.
