The Asus Zenfone 4 Max Plus, aka Zenfone Max Plus M1, is getting a new software update with several enhancements and bug fixes. If you’re confused about the device variant, this update is for the model ZB570TL.

The update is live right now and is available as an OTA download. It may take up to a week for all users to get the update. After installing the update, the focus blur issue with the rear camera will be fixed. Alongside that, improvements to Audio quality, performance, power consumption, animations, and audio recording are also included.

The software version number of the update is 14.02.1712.29. The Zenfone Max Plus M1 was announced in November last year and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It features a 5.7-inch display, an octa-core MediaTek processor, up to 3GB of RAM, dual rear cameras, and a 4130mAh battery.

Asus recently started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Zenfone 4. The company has confirmed that the Zenfone 4 and the Zenfone 3 series device will receive the update to Oreo, but we aren’t sure if this variant is included in that.
