Asus unveiled the PadFone 2 last month, along with an announcement that it would be made available in select European and Asian markets sometime before the end of the year. Reports seem to indicate that there could be a fix on the Germany debut of the PadFone 2.
Reports from German website Inside-Handy show that the Asus PadFone 2 will be released in Germany on December 1st. This could mean that other major European market could also be looking at a a release at around the same time, although the UK release is set for early 2013.
As expected, the Asus PadFone 2 will be available in 32GB and 64GB options, priced at €799 and €899 respectively. The device will be available both unlocked, as well as on contract from E-Plus for free on plans starting at €34 per month.
For those who missed the details on the Asus Padfone 2, the device packs a 4.7 inch Super IPS+ display (1280 x 720 pixels), quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
