Asus has started rolling out a new update to its battery beast, the ZenFone 3 Max. Arriving with the build 14.0200.1704.119, the update installs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat on the smartphone.
The Asus’s official forum doesn’t reveal much about the update apart from the fact that it installs the latest OS on the smartphone. Also, the model name is mentioned as ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL) while the update is intended for ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL).
This could be a typographical mistake from the company. Like said earlier, there’s no mention of other changes or additions in the changelog. The company has already started pushing out the update to its users which means it can hit your device anytime.

However, do note that you may not be able to see the update pop on your device instantly as it takes around a week for the auto-push to complete. Meanwhile, you can always check if you’ve received the update or not manually by simply heading to the Settings > About > System update.
