  • The NAD found that Apple’s claims about the availability of Apple Intelligence features were not accurate for all users.
  • Apple Intelligence features are being released gradually and are not yet accessible to everyone.

Apple has updated its Apple Intelligence webpage, removing the "available now" label after a review by the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Better Business Bureau.

The NAD conducted an official inquiry into Apple’s advertising and concluded that the company’s claims about the immediate availability of Apple Intelligence features were not accurate for all users. As a result, Apple has complied with the recommendation to discontinue or modify these claims.

The NAD’s investigation found that while Apple began rolling out Apple Intelligence features in software updates between October 2024 and March 2025, not all users could access these features right away. The staggered release meant that some devices and users would not receive the new capabilities immediately, making the "available now" claim misleading.

Apple Intelligence includes a suite of artificial intelligence features designed to enhance user experience on supported devices. These features are being introduced gradually through updates to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Only certain models, such as the latest iPhones and Macs with newer processors, are eligible for the updates at this stage.

By removing the "available now" label, Apple aims to provide more accurate information about the rollout of its AI features. The company continues to update its software and expand access to Apple Intelligence, but availability will depend on device compatibility and regional release schedules.
