The Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 has received another Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 based custom ROM, Koud AOSP ROM. It is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROM that provides you the stock Android 4.0 experience without any modifications or Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top. There are already quite a few ICS ROMs available for the Galaxy S2, but like they say, the more the merrier.

As it’s an AOSP based ROMs, a lot of bugs and issues might be present, and quite a few things do not work yet. Whether the ROM is usable as a daily driver is something only you can decide, so read on to find out how you can flash Koud AOSP ROM on your Galaxy S2.

Compatibility

This procedure is compatible only and only with Samsung Galaxy S2, model number i9100. It’s not compatible with any other device. Check your device’s model number in: Settings » About phone.

Warning!

Read everything carefully and thoroughly. The methods and procedures discussed here are considered risky and you should not attempt anything if you don’t know completely what it is. If any damage occurs to you or your device, we won’t be held liable.
