Ever since the Google Pixels got the Night Sight feature for improved low-light photography, several vendors have gone ahead and included a version of their own in their camera apps, among them Asus and the ZenFone 6.

Asus calls it Super Night mode and while this feature is limited to the main camera out of the box, the latest update to version 16.1210.1907.116 adds this camera mode to the selfie shooter.

The update also enhances the benchmark performance (it is recommended to open AI Boost and start benchmark), improves system stability, and fixes an issue where auto brightness occasionally fails after resuming the device.

It’s the second OTA update to the ZenFone 6 since launch, with the first having been released a couple of days ago carrying a flurry of camera improvements as well.

Asus has also promised to release at least two major OS upgrades for the ZenFone 6, beginning with Android Q later this year.
