Android P stable release is only a few weeks away and so far, only a handful of devices are able to access the ongoing beta testing program. This year, things changed significantly, where a few other devices were able to join the Google Pixels in trialing the new OS ahead of official release in August.

While we know the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 3S won’t be receiving the update to Android P on official grounds, senior XDA developer Azzkaran has managed to bring an Android P DP4 beta port to the device.

At the moment, the developer has yet to share the whole process of how Android P found its way to the Xiaomi Redmi 3S, but it shouldn’t be long before these details are made public.
