A while back, reports emerged from China that Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro would be updated to Android Oreo in the coming weeks. And indeed, we recently saw the former make a stop by the Wi-Fi Alliance with Oreo, 8.0, running the show. This was enough to tell us that the Galaxy C9 Pro will be updated to Oreo somewhere this coming August.
Now, the same tipster is at it again, this time mentioning that the Galaxy C7 Pro is set to receive Android 8.0 Oreo today. However, this is the beta version of the update and as per his previous revelation; this could be limited to the Chinese market.

The Galaxy C lineup was initially meant for the Chinese market but for some reason, some of the devices in the series have found their way to other markets. For how long those in other markets will have to wait for the Oreo update is still unknown, but if your device was shipped directly from China, you might still get lucky.
