Cheers! Enjoy root access on Android N!
In a surprising move earlier today, Google released Android N developer preview builds for all supported Nexus devices. And like each new Android update, we expect the Android N preview builds to trouble with root as well.
We don’t have concrete information yet if the current root (SuperSU v2.68) works for Android N or not, but we wouldn’t be surprised in case it doesn’t.
We’ll be keeping a close watch at xda forums and Chainfire’s latest tweet for any hint on Android N root possibilities, and let you once it’s done/available with a detailed step-by-step guide.
We’re hopeful that Chainfire’s systemless root would work good with Android N. Let’s see what follows, stay tuned..
Happy Androiding!
