Earlier this month, LG released its official Android Pie update roadmap, revealing that LG V35 ThinQ will be updated to the new OS this Q2 2019.

At the time, we didn’t get a specific date, but we don’t need one now that the OS is already rolling out in Korea. Arriving as version V350N20c and targeting model LMV350N, the update started rolling out in the company’s home country yesterday, but we still don’t have a date for the global rollout.

It’s likely that the wait for the global rollout could take a while, just like the case with the LG G7 ThinQ. Still, we don’t expect the wait to go beyond Q2 2019, although the update could arrive deep into the quarter.

According to LG, the previous update the device received (version V350N10s) was meant to prepare the V35 ThinQ for the coming of Pie, so be sure that you have this version installed ahead of your upgrade to the latest OS.

Alternatively, you can as well grab the Pie firmware via this link and install it manually, but be sure you know how this works, otherwise, you’ll be safer waiting for the OTA download notification to arrive.
