The Moto G4 Plus in India has started to receive the Android Nougat software update. As you can see from the screenshot above, the new system update carrying the build no. NPJ25-93.11 brings Android 7.0 to one of the best budget smartphones out there — and also becoming the only one in its range to run Android Nougat right now.
Users will be delighted to know that the update is now rolling out and should be available for all in the next few days. As per the changelog, apart from the 7.0 features, the only change is with Moto Actions, wherein you can now swipe to shrink the screen. Lenovo has been soak testing the Moto G Nougat update in Brazil and India since last month.
In Android Nougat, several new features such as multi-screen mode, better notifications, and improved battery saving are available. Of course, Nougat also brings several other improvements and enhancements to the entire OS. A new Swipe to Shrink Screen feature is also available as part of Moto Actions in the new Nougat update.
