Samsung’s Galaxy A9 Pro, A8, and Tab E could be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat very soon as all the three devices have been spotted paying a visit to Wi-Fi Alliance with the Nougat on board.

Launched in the first half of last year, the Galaxy A9 Pro still runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow while the Galaxy A8 has been upgraded from Lollipop to Marshmallow since its launch in 2015.

Both the handsets, however, will be able to run Android 7.0 Nougat once the update is out. Speaking of which, there’s no word on when the company will be seeding it.

Taking into account the fact that Wi-Fi Alliance has already cleared the update for the above devices including the Galaxy Tab E, it’s only a matter of time until the update is out for the said devices.

Needless to say, you will be able to use the multi-window split-screen mode, improved Doze mode, revamped Notification shade and Quick Settings among other things with the update installed.
