Marshmallow update allows you to customize the your device via additional settings called ‘System UI Tuner‘, and it’s actually kind of hidden. When enabled, it presents you some good customization options.

Using System UI Tuner, you can arrange the quick settings toggles under notification bar as per your wish, and can also enable battery percentage reading on the status bar.

Moreover, System UI Tuner also allows you hide particular icons from the status bar if you don’t want the device to tell you by their so presence in the bar up top.

Lastly, you could enable Demo mode using the System UI Tuner option in Settings. Let’s see how to enable it.

Enable System UI Tuner

Step 1: On Android 6.0 update, pull the notification bar on your device.

Step 2: Now, you see that gear icon in the top right, that opens Settings when tapped. Well, long press it — doing that will make it rotate and open up and throw up a message “Congrats! System UI Tuner has been added to Settings”.

Step 3: Now head into Settings by tapping on the same icon once, and look into About phone (or About tablet) menu.

Step 4: You will find the System UI Tuner option right there. Tap on it and begin customizing your device. That’s it.
