App cab aggregator Uber has extended its Uber Rewards loyalty program to all the riders in the U.S. The program was announced in November 2018 and it was applied in January 2019 in nine cities. The program offers loyalty points for Uber rides and orders made on Uber Eats, the food delivery platform of the company.
Rewards in the program include one point on every USD spent on Uber Pool, two points every dollar spent on Uber X, and three points for each dollar spent on Uber Premium. One point is offered for each dollar spent on Uber Eats too. For every 500 points gathered, riders obtain a $5 credit that can be availed on Uber services.
There are premium options too. For example, the riders get a Gold status when they reach 500 points. FYI, status resets every six months. Gold riders get a specialty Uber “premium support.” For even more points gathered, there are more loyalty rewards, such as airport pick up on a priority basis and free food deliveries by Uber Eats.
The program guarantees at least one percent cash back as Uber credit redeemable via Uber services across the U.S. The latest announcement confirms Uber’s loyalty rewards for all riders in the U.S. irrespective of location or availability of service categories.
