Alcatel, a company that doesn’t exactly has a name in the tablet world, is set to release a new Android-based tablet in October – the One Touch A10. Not exactly a tablet that will blow your mind, the One Touch A10 is aimed at the low-end affordable tablet market, with a 1GHz Rockchip RK2918 processor and 7-inch WVGA display.
Other specifications of the One Touch A10 include 1GB of RAM, 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded via a microSD card, USB OTG support for connecting external devices like keyboard and mice, and Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. The modest 3000 mAh battery should allow a usage time of 4 hours and 120 hours of standby time.
The Alcatel One Touch A10 will be available in Europe sometime this month for a price of €119.90. Whether it will hit other markets has is not known for now. You can find out more info on the tablet on the official website.
