Under the Prime exclusive offer, Amazon USA has launched the budget-friendly device from Alcatel, Alcatel Idol 5S. The device is up for pre-order and will be released on July 10, 2017.
With this excellent opportunity, you get the device at $199.99 only. However, you’ll have to live with lock screen ads and offers. On the bright side, ads will be personalized. There is a standard variant as well, which is available for $279.99. And yup, this one doesn’t come with ads and offers.
Other than the ads and price, the specifications are same for both the variants. Whichever version you get, the device supports 4G LTE and features 5.2” full HD (1080p) display. Inside, 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory, powers the smartphone.

In the camera segment, the smartphone features 12 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera with video stabilization. It also includes a rear fingerprint sensor.
Further, the smartphone runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat and Prime members would get unlimited access to Prime movies and TV shows, Prime Music and Prime Photos storage.
About the connectivity, the smartphone is an unlocked version and is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile network. Sprint and Verizon users would have to wait until summer.
