Acer has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Iconia Tab A700. It’s not surprising that it’s coming right after Asus started updating the Transformer Prime to Jelly Bean.

Acer didn’t make any prior announcement that they are soon going to make available the Jelly Bean update for the tablet. Also there’s no change log available for the update as of now, but consider them coming shortly (if any) in a couple of hours as owners complete updating their 10.1 inch HD tablet.

The Jelly Bean update for Iconia Tab A700 is available as an over-the-air (OTA) update and is 332MB in size. If you or a friend of yours owns this tablet, then go to Settings > About tablet > System update and get it updated to be on the latest and greatest version of Android version, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
