Grow a Garden 2 launched alongside an event sitting in the center of the map, and its reward is the Frozen Snake pet. It’s completely free, but the path to it isn’t obvious: you score points by harvesting heavy plants, and those points only count once you’re part of a clan. Get the weight and the clan timing right and the pet is well within reach.

Stock up on bamboo
Buy bamboo from the shop, where it appears very often, and grab as much as you can.
Gather your sprinklers
Collect the common, uncommon, and rare sprinklers at minimum; the legendary and the 3,000-cost super are nice but skippable.
Equip your deer pets
Activate every deer pet you own so growth stacks — five active is 50% faster, enough to make bamboo grow almost instantly.
Place one of each sprinkler
Drop a single sprinkler of every rarity you have; one of each is plenty to boost the area.
Spam-plant bamboo around the sprinklers
Spam the click and surround the sprinklers with bamboo on every side.
Roll for a heavy bamboo
Keep spamming until a heavy one appears — over 40 kg is the average clans look for, but do not harvest it yet.
Join a clan, then harvest
Get into a clan first, and only then collect your heaviest bamboo so its weight actually scores.

Why harvest order makes or breaks your score
The event reads the weight of the plants you collect: every gram becomes one point for your clan. The trap is timing. A plant you harvest before joining a clan counts for nothing — only plants you collect while already in a clan are tallied.
So if you pull a beautiful 31 kg bamboo while solo, it’s wasted. Leave your heaviest plant standing in the garden until you’re in a group. The good news is you never have to deliver it anywhere — the moment you harvest it inside a clan, the points are already credited.
Farming bamboo heavy enough to matter
Bamboo is the plant to chase because it’s cheap, common, and gets genuinely huge. Lay down one of each sprinkler, then carpet the area around them with bamboo and spam-plant. With a few hundred seeds you’ll eventually roll something heavy.
You don’t need the rare drops to make this work. Using only the common, uncommon, and rare sprinklers — no legendary — is enough to land a plant heavy enough to climb a clan leaderboard. All the smaller bamboo you pull along the way isn’t wasted either: harvest and sell those, since this is also one of the best ways to make money right now.
Four ways to land a clan
You can’t score without a clan, and there are a few routes in. The first is creating your own, but only do it if you have the Robux — a clan starts around 80 with room for about 20 people, and opening it up to 50 slots runs closer to 2,000. A 20-person clan leaves you badly outmatched, so only build one if you can fund the full 50.
The easier route is finding an existing clan. Open the Grow a Garden 2 server list, scroll down, and toggle exclude full servers so you see busy-but-open lobbies. Hop in, look for players already in a group, and message them — through chat, or by buying the sign from the shop and writing to them. Have your heavy bamboo grown beforehand so they can literally see how big your plant is, because heavier plants get invited faster.
As a last option, open the list of top clans and dig through them for one that isn’t fully packed, like a 48/50. If your plant out-weighs their lightest member, they’ll usually let you in — find the leader (the one wearing the crown), add them on Roblox, and ask to join. Only the top 100 clans earn the pet, so keep contributing once you’re in.
Do not harvest your heaviest bamboo until you are already inside a clan — plants collected before you join don’t count toward the event at all.

Is the Frozen Snake pet really free?
Yes. You can earn it without spending anything, though it is fairly difficult. The only thing that costs Robux is creating your own clan — joining an existing one is free.
Do I need the legendary or super sprinkler?
No. The super costs 3,000 and the legendary appears rarely, so both are optional. The common, uncommon, and rare sprinklers alone are enough to grow a heavy plant.
Do I have to turn the plant in somewhere?
