Crimson Desert red panda pet is easiest to get by finding the red panda spawn in Hernand and feeding it Rough Bamboo Stalk for +100 trust. The fastest setup uses a few pieces of food from the Bamboo Forest, then a single successful feed can instantly push trust to 100 and let you take the pet in.
How to get the red panda pet
Step 1: Farm Rough Bamboo Stalk
Go to the Bamboo Forest Seonangdang, just east of Hernand, and cut bamboo until you have Rough Bamboo Stalk.

Step 2: Watch for the spirit-tree risk
If you cut too much bamboo too quickly, the Spirit of the Trees boss can spawn and attack you. If that happens, leave the area and reset your route instead of trying to brute-force the whole forest.

Step 3: Travel to the red panda spawn
Go to the zone west of Three Saints Falls and east of Haunted Hills in Hernand, then aim between the two visible water markers on the map.

The area is ringed by small rivers and filled with flowers, which makes the red pandas easy to spot from the air.

Step 4: Catch the red panda
At the location, you’ll find a bunch of red pandas.

Run up behind one and catch it by the scruff of its neck.

Step 5: Feed the panda for instant trust
Use Rough Bamboo Stalk on the red panda.

This food gives +100 trust, which is enough to tame the animal immediately.
Step 6: Take the pet in
When trust reaches 100, use the Take In prompt to claim the animal as your pet. If you already grabbed the wrong animal or want a second one, move quickly because the area has multiple red pandas.

-
Don’t assume any food works equally well. Only Rough Bamboo Stalk is the fastest option for this pet.
-
Don’t waste time over-farming bamboo if the Spirit of the Trees boss spawns; reset and return later.
-
Don’t search random towns first. The red panda location is tied to Hernand, near Three Saints Falls and Haunted Hills.
-
Don’t forget that petting alone is slow because of the daily trust cap.
-
Don’t ignore the Pets menu after taking it in, since that’s where summoning and management happen.

This route saves the most time because it cuts the usual trust grind down to a near-instant tame if you already have Rough Bamboo Stalk. For players hunting Crimson Desert pets efficiently, the red panda is a strong early target because the location is concentrated, the spawn is easy to recognize, and the trust payoff is immediate.
