Entangled Power Cell is one of the more useful mid-game unlocks in Subnautica 2 because it upgrades your power setup and supports more demanding exploration. The good news is that the blueprint is not hidden behind a long crafting chain first; you only need to find and scan the two fragments, then gather the crafting materials afterward.

How to reach the fragment area
Start from the alien ruins progression point and move east.
Then descend into the deeper area beneath the main structure line. The route is under the alien formation. Follow the light coming from below until you reach the correct pocket.
Step 1
Head out from the alien ruins area and keep moving east toward the deeper alien structure route.
Step 2
Stay beneath the main structure instead of climbing over it, because the fragment spot sits below the visible alien formation.
Step 3
Watch for a section where light is visible below you, since that marks the area where the fragments are located.
Step 4
Drop into that lit pocket and look around the small fragment site.
How to scan both fragments
The fragment location contains two separate pieces, so you can unlock the blueprint in one visit if you scan both. The first part and second part sitting in the same small area, close enough to be collected back to back.
Step 1
Approach the lit alien pocket and slow down before entering the site.
Step 2
Find the first fragment piece.
And scan it.
Step 3
Climb up in the same area.
And scan the second fragment piece.
Step 4
After the second scan, the Entangled Power Cell blueprint unlocks immediately.
Crafting ingredients
Once the blueprint is unlocked, the item is crafted at the Fabricator. The required materials are Conduit Crystal, Strong Acid, Gold Ingot, and Troilite.
Where the materials come from
Conduit Crystal comes from the Power Plant biome, which is identified by factory-like structures and a large tent-like oceanic formation; it is harvested with the Sonic Resonator rather than a basic tool. Strong Acid is crafted from 2 Necrolei Cysts in the Processor, and those cysts grow on green, round plants near purple and green anemones, including early access around the Old Habitat area.
Troilite is tied to the Karakorum Metal Farm near the Angel Comb, where green Mineralized Clinkers contain the resource and must be broken open. Gold is needed as a base material for the Gold Ingot, so it is worth collecting while you are already filling out the recipe chain.
The Entangled Power Cell sits in the tier of upgrades that help you move beyond basic survival and into longer, safer trips. Because it is a Fabricator recipe and not a vehicle module hunt, it becomes available as soon as you gather the materials after the blueprint unlocks.
