Travel roughly 210 meters southeast from your starting pod until you spot a tall rocky spire extending upward from the seafloor. Near the base of the formation, you will notice a lower entryway leading into a small structure.

Step 2: Locate the open doorway

Circle around to the far side of the structure until you find an open entrance leading inside.

Step 3: Search the interior room

Inside the room, you will find the fragment resting on a couch.

How to find the final fragment inside the Altera wreck

The third Repair Tool fragment is located much farther away inside the massive Altera starship wreck northeast of the Lifepod.

Head roughly 350 meters northeast until the enormous Altera wreck becomes visible.

Step 2: Navigate toward the lower section

Move carefully along the outer structure until you locate a large opening near the bottom of the wreck.

Step 3: Enter the interior area

Swim through the opening and navigate deeper inside.

The final Repair Tool fragment can be found near a doorway inside the wreck interior.
