Basic battery crafting details
Resource locations for battery materials
The resources needed to craft your first basic battery are conveniently located just beneath your starting lifepod. By diving straight down into the shallow underwater caves, you will find copper deposits scattered along the rocky edges and cave walls. In the exact same cave system, you will spot the distinctive pink, brain-like acidic raion plants growing on the seabed, ensuring you do not have to venture into dangerous, unfamiliar waters to gather your early-game supplies.
How to craft the basic battery
Step 1
Gather titanium from the seabed around your lifepod. Look for dark blue rocks scattered lightly across the ocean floor and pick them up using your hands.
Step 2
Return to the lifepod fabricator and use the titanium to craft the survival multitool. You will need this item equipped to harvest specific plant materials safely.
Step 3
Dive straight down from your lifepod into the shallow cave systems below.

Swim along the walls of the caves and look for small outcroppings of copper.

Pick up at least two pieces of copper.

Step 4
While still in the cave, locate the pink acidic raion plants.

Equip your newly crafted survival multitool and use it to strike the plant, which will drop an acidic raion pouch for you to collect.

Step 5
Swim back up to your lifepod and open the fabricator menu.

Navigate to the resources tab, select the electronics section, and craft your basic battery.
