What to know

• There are five safes total: Bar & Lounge, Examination Room, Basement, Sterilization Chamber, and Monitor Control Room.

• Each safe appears on the in‑game map, so you can return to it later if you miss the code.

• On casual or normal difficulty, you can use the same dial‑direction patterns for all safes; Insanity uses inverted numbers but the same turn‑order logic.

Resident Evil Requiem scatters five safes across the Care Center and ARK facilities, each locked behind a numeric dial. Knowing the right code and rotation direction is the fastest way to grab upgrades and extra ammo without hunting for every clue file.

Bar & Lounge safe code and location

The Bar & Lounge safe sits behind the counter in the Care Center’s Bar & Lounge, near the Parlor entrance. The dial has 100 ticks, so you need to move it in the right direction for each number.

Step 1 – Navigate to the Bar & Lounge

• Head to the first floor of the West Wing and find the Bar & Lounge behind the Parlor.

• Walk behind the bar counter to the safe attached to the back wall.

Step 2 – Enter the casual / normal code

For casual or normal difficulty, follow this exact rotation:

• Turn the dial left until it lands on 10.

• Without confirming, turn the dial right until it lands on 80.

• Turn the dial left again until it lands on 30, then confirm.

The safe door will swing open, revealing three Antique Coins you can spend in the Parlor.

Step 3 – Enter the Insanity code

On Insanity, the same turn order applies but the numbers change:

• Turn the dial right to 20.

• Turn the dial left to 50.

• Turn the dial right to 30, then confirm.

This unlocks the same contents as normal but with the higher‑difficulty variant of the code.

Examination Room safe code and dial pattern

The Examination Room safe is in the East Wing, near the organless corpse and the conference area. 

Step 1 – Reach the Examination Room

• Use the Parlor keycard to enter the East Wing hallways.

• Move into the Examination Room on the first floor and find the safe in the southeast corner.

Step 2 – Casual / Normal dial sequence

• Turn the dial right (clockwise) until it reads 30.

• Turn the dial left (counter‑clockwise) until it reads 10.

• Turn the dial right (clockwise) again until it reads 50, then confirm.

This opens the safe and drops three Antique Coins for Parlor upgrades.

Step 3 – Insanity code version

• Turn the dial left (counter‑clockwise) to 50.

• Turn the dial right (clockwise) to 30.

• Turn the dial left (counter‑clockwise) to 90, then confirm.

The contents remain the same, but the code is adjusted for Insanity difficulty.

Basement safe code and correct turns

The Basement safe is in a small tool room north of the workshop, accessible while playing as Grace. The code is first revealed in a file you read in Leon’s warped cabinet.

Step 1 – Access the Basement safe area

• Equip the joint plug and open the west side door near Furnace.

• Move north into the tool room just above Processing on the basement map.

Step 2 – Casual / Normal dial input

• Turn the dial right to 60.

• Turn the dial left to 40.

• Turn the dial right to 80, then confirm.

Inside you get handgun ammo and the Ron Round Map for Rhodes Hill, which helps track collectibles.

Step 3 – Insanity difficulty version

• Turn the dial left to 70.

• Turn the dial right to 50.

• Turn the dial left to 20, then confirm.

The items inside are identical; only the code differs.

Sterilization Chamber safe instructions

The Sterilization Chamber safe is in the ARK facility, inside the Sterilization Chamber room. 

Step 1 – Find the Sterilization Chamber safe

• Enter the Sterilization Chamber through the custom‑gate corridor.

• Locate the safe on the north side of the room, near Grace’s forced‑door‑opening sequence.

Step 2 – Casual / Normal turns

• Turn the dial right to 10.

• Turn the dial left to 90.

• Turn the dial right to 20, then confirm.

You’ll get a Med Injector, handgun ammo, and a Molotov Cocktail.

Step 3 – Insanity dial pattern

• Turn the dial left to 80.

• Turn the dial right to 50.

• Turn the dial left to 0, then confirm.

This gives the same supply haul as the normal variant.

Monitor Control Room safe code

The Monitor Control Room safe is in the ARK Monitor Control Room, usually unlocked after the main chamber sequence. 

Step 1 – Reach the Monitor Control Room

• Move through the ARK corridor toward the central control hub.

• Enter the Monitor Control Room and find the safe on the rear wall.

Step 2 – Casual / Normal dial sequence

• Turn the dial right to 70.

• Turn the dial left to 20.

• Turn the dial right to 90, then confirm.

Inside are extra consumables that help with late‑game fights.

Step 3 – Insanity variation

• Turn the dial left to 20.

• Turn the dial right to 80.

• Turn the dial left to 10, then confirm.

As with the other safes, the Insanity code just flips the numbers while keeping the same turn order.

List of rewards by safe

Once you know the patterns, you can skip hunting for safe‑code files and open all safes in one run. Start with the Bar & Lounge and Examination Room on the first floor, then drop to the Basement, then finish with the two ARK safes in Sterilization Chamber and Monitor Control Room. Use the same clockwise‑left then right‑left‑right order, swapping in the Insanity numbers only if you are on the hardest difficulty. Doing so earns the full set of rewards and unlocks the No Safe is Safe completion milestone.
