Not everything on streaming services is suited for kids. If you have little ones at home, you may want to restrict movies and TV show content based on their ratings on Apple TV. Here’s how to restrict movie and TV show content on Apple TV.
How to restrict Movie and TV shows on the Apple TV app
Open the Apple TV app. Click on the three-dot icon in the top left corner, and select Settings.
Click Restrictions.
To restrict movies, click on the drop-down menu next to Movies Rating.
Select the rating. Only movies up to your selected ratings will be shown.
Restrict TV shows by clicking on the drop down menu next to TV Shows Rating.
And select your rating.
You can also remove movies and TV shows altogether by selecting ‘Don’t Allow Movies’ or ‘Don’t Allow TV Shows’ from their respective drop-down menus.
