Word out there, is that Google’s next Nexus tablet is likely to be a co-branded collaboration with Samsung, and a 10-inch class tablet is already in the works.

The Samsung-manufactured Nexus 10 will be a high-end device that uses a whopping 2,560 x 1,600 display with a 299 ppi pixel density, which trumps what Apple currently offers on its Retina display equipped new iPad. The 9.7″ iPad 3 carries a 2048 x 1536 resolution at 264 ppi.

Google released its first Nexus tablet, the nexus 7,  in collaboration with Asus, and it’s not the first time it would be partnering with Samsung on a Nexus device. Samsung already has the distinction of collaborating with Google on 2 Nexus devices in the past, the Samsung Nexus S & the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, both of which were received very well.

This would be the first time though, that Samsung would be working on a Nexus tablet device, and going by the quality of products Samsung has released of late, like the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2, the end product should be nothing short of spectacular.
