007 First Light: How to Get the Crypto Wallet: Pickpocket, Hack Tower, and Unlock $50,000 Guide

To get The Crypto Wallet in 007 First Light, you need to complete the Secure Transaction side quest by pickpocketing it from a woman at a tea stall in Aleph’s black market, then hacking it via a tower to unlock $50,000 for the auction fee.

How to Get The Crypto Wallet

Step 1: Talk to Nirmala to Start the Quest

Head to Aleph’s black market and find Nirmala positioned toward the left of the ramp James uses to enter. Exhaust all dialogue options with her. She’ll explain that a buyer is trying to obtain weapons using cryptocurrency, which has no value in this market.

Step 2: Eavesdrop on the NPC

After talking to Nirmala, go through the tunnel directly opposite her stall.

To the other side of the market. As soon as you exit the tunnel, turn right.

And you’ll spot an opportunity to eavesdrop on an NPC.

Hack his phone and stay in close proximity so the hacking can be done.

Once he gets out of range, you’ll be blocked by a guy.

Simply dart him and get close to the NPC again.

Once hacking is done, go find the woman with the crypto wallet.

Step 3: Find the Woman with the Crypto Wallet

Go to the market square where a woman is looking over a tea stall.

This is the NPC carrying the Crypto hardware wallet.

Step 4: Pickpocket the Crypto Wallet

Distract the woman using your laser gadget or Dart Phone.

Then pickpocket the Crypto Wallet from her.

Step 5: Hack the Wallet via the Tower

Once you have the wallet, you’ll need to help Moneypenny hack it by connecting it to a nearby tower:

  • Follow the quest marker through a thug hideout.

  • Avoid combat if possible. There are multiple enemies on each floor will rush James simultaneously.

  • Reach the top of the thug hideout and make your way through the small platforming section.

  • You’ll need to sneak your way to get up, through stairs, ledges, and other sections.

  • Once up there, interact with the tower.

  • This will connect the hardware wallet to the tower.

Step 6: Complete the Hack

Once hacking finishes, $50,000 will be added to your auction fee collection objective, and the Secure Transaction challenge will be complete.

Critical Mistakes to Avoid

  • Engaging in combat at the thug hideout—enemies rush simultaneously and can overwhelm you

  • Not exhausting all dialogue with Nirmala—you’ll miss the quest trigger

  • Skipping the eavesdrop—it’s required to progress the quest

  • Trying to pickpocket without distracting—use the laser gadget or Dart Phone first

 

This $50,000 is crucial since you need $100,000 total for the auction fee to enter Bacardi Ali’s auction.
