ZTE Blade 3 is now official, as the company has finally taken upon itself to announce and tell what it is and what it is not. Well, it’s a medium segment device, and thus ain’t got any of the cool stuff – hd display, slim body, etc — like ZTE Grand Era but anyway, at just $230 approx, it’s very much like ZTE Warp Sequent.
The ZTE Blade packs in a mediocre 4.0 inch TFT display (800 x 480 pixels), with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to boot, and sports a meager 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor – one that powers Samsung galaxy Ace Plus and LG Optimus L7.
Other than that, ZTE Blade 3 houses a 5 megapixel camera at back (no front facing secondary camera), 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot and a okay-ish 1600 mAh battery to power all this stuff.
Sure, specs are not the coolest one, but for an Ice Cream Sandwich device at $230, it’s quite wrong to ask for more. And it weighs 130 grams, if you were wondering.
ZTE Blade 3 Price
ZTE has priced the Blade 3 for 1499 SEK, which is around $230.
ZTE Blade 3 Release Date
ZTE plans to launch the Blade 3 in Sweden first in October 2012, and then in Finland in September. The Sweden Blade 3 will be in Black color while Finland will have white color. Leave it to ZTE why they didn’t plan to launch both colors at both places, and Europe and world market, where they plan to release the device “throughout 2012”.
