YU Yunique 2, a budget smartphone from Micromax subsidiary YU, has been launched in India at an affordable price of Rs 5,999/$93. This device is successor to the 2015 launched Yunique device.
YU has upped the specsheet a bit in Yunique 2 as compared to its predecessor. As such we find slightly better camera, powerful battery and Truecaller integration in the new YU device. Not to forget the larger display.
YU will start selling the Yunique 2 smartphone from July 27th in Champagne and Coal Black color options. The handset will be Flipkart-exclusive.
YU Yunique 2 sports a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat, which is great for an ultra-budget device.
Powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, the phone packs in 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The imaging department is taken care of by a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. The lights are kept on by a 2500mAh battery.
