Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet offer powerful boosts—from damage to mobility—and upgrading them is essential for tougher bosses and PvP. Each skill has 4 tiers, with 9 ranks per tier. Ranks are upgraded using Ebon Irons, and once you reach Rank 9, you’ll need special flowers/herbs plus Ebon Iron to break through to the next tier. Upgrading increases damage, duration, and overall utility across combat and exploration.

How to upgrade Mystic Skills

Follow the steps below to upgrade your Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1

Open the Abilities tab, then select Mystic Skills to view, equip, or upgrade them.

Step 2

Select the Mystic Skill you want to upgrade and press the Upgrade button in the bottom-right corner. Rank 1–9 upgrades only require Ibon Irons.

Step 3

Once you reach Rank 9 of any Tier, you’ll also need various flowers and herbs to Breakthrough the Mystic Skill to the next Tier.

Step 4

These Flowers and Herbs can be obtained from Mystic Skill Breakthrough Support Boxes, the Season Shop, Battle Pass Shop or by gathering them in the open world.

Step 5

Once you have the required items for a Tier Breakthrough, press Breakthrough in the bottom-right corner to advance to the next Tier, then upgrade another 9 ranks to progress into further Tiers.
