Starting your mossberry adventure in Silksong can seem tricky, but with the right directions, you’ll have the stew in your hands in no time.
How to start the quest with the Moss Druid
Head to Mosshome above Bone Bottom, which you can access from The Marrow. Find the Moss Druid inside a cave at the upper right of Bone Bottom. To enter, make sure you have the Silkspear ability, found at the top of the room outside the cave. Use Silkspear to remove the silk barrier blocking the cave, then interact with the Moss Druid to begin.
Collecting all three mossberries
You’ll need to gather three mossberries before returning for your stew. Here’s how to find them:
Mossberry 1: Lower Moss Grotto
Travel to Moss Grotto, dropping into the area to the left of Bone Bottom. Move up the platforms, and look for a stair-like structure to the right. The mossberry hangs at the end; a simple jump and an upward attack bring it down for collection.
Mossberry 2: Upper Moss Grotto
From the first mossberry’s location, head right and ascend through floating platforms. The second mossberry rests just out of reach, but a flying bug hovers nearby. When the bug dives, pogo off its head with a downward strike, then swing your weapon upward mid-air to snag the berry.
Mossberry 3: Above Bone Bottom Village
Go above Bone Bottom, passing the map vendor, until you find another bug gripping a glowing object. Use pogo attacks on the bug’s head to defeat it, causing the mossberry to drop. Collect it and return to the Moss Druid.

Getting Mossberry Stew from the Moss Druid
With all three mossberries in hand, return to the Moss Druid in Mosshome. Give the berries to receive Mossberry Stew. Occasionally, the Druid gives the stew without all three if you’ve already met other requirements.
Completing the Great Taste of Pharloom quest
Take Mossberry Stew to Loyal Mergwin in the Citadel’s Choral Chambers. You can hand in each quest item individually or together to progress the quest and unlock rewards.
